We finally got the keys to our new home on Sunday night! Now, the face lift games begin, which will last us 3 weeks long, starting upstairs and finishing downstairs! First event we have Spencer & Sid on Carpet Pulling...yes that is in the kitchen, no thanks!
Next event, with Carla, DaNell and Melina: Wallpaper & Glue Stripping...most meticuluosly laborious, unfun work!
Third, we have Matt on Valance & Blinds (and yes, please comment on my lovely bright green carpet so thoughfully laid throughout the entire house by the previous owners!)
And this is the conclusion of Day 1. We are all already getting tired, and would so much rather skip all the prep and go right to painting! Thanks fam for your great help. We'll keep the progress of the facelift games posted!

Don't you just love how much work it is to move into a new house? There are always projects to be done. Make sure to invite us over for a bbq when it is all done:)

wow! what a lot of hard work (but so nice to have people to help!). what i love about work like that, though, is that there's such a great payoff in the end - it's great to see the progress. keep up the good work.
